These terms cover the use of keyarg.com and any free tools we publish. Paid engagements are governed by a separate written services agreement that takes precedence over this page. Last updated 29 May 2026.

What this site is
keyarg.com is the marketing and content site of Key Arg B.V. It includes service descriptions, our methodology and reading material, plus a set of free tools for SEO and GEO work. The free tools run client-side in your browser, or by sending one request to our server which processes it and returns a result without storing it.
Acceptable use
You may use this site and the free tools for lawful, non-abusive purposes. You may not scrape the site at high volume, bypass technical access controls, attempt to extract our source code, send malicious payloads to our tools, or use our tools to facilitate unlawful activity against third parties. Reasonable manual or automated use for legitimate research, testing your own properties, or evaluating our work is welcome.
Paid engagements take precedence
When you sign a written services agreement with us for paid work, that agreement governs the engagement. These site terms apply only to the website itself and the free tools. Where the signed agreement conflicts with anything here, the signed agreement wins.
Intellectual property
Content on keyarg.com (the methodology, the guides, the article text, the code behind the free tools, the brand and logo) is owned by Key Arg B.V. You may quote brief passages with attribution for research, journalism, or commentary purposes. You may share links to our pages freely. Substantial reproduction, derivative works, or redistribution as a competing product requires written permission.
For paid client engagements, intellectual property in the deliverables transfers to the client according to the signed services agreement, typically on full payment.
AI in our work
We use AI tools (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT) in drafting and research, with human editorial review on every output. See our AI policy for the full disclosure. Under EU AI Act Article 50 (effective 2 August 2026), AI-assisted material that has undergone meaningful human editorial review generally does not require labelling. We label proactively if there is any doubt.
Free tools are provided as-is
The free tools at keyarg.com/tools/* are provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. They are intended for evaluation, learning, and small-scale professional use. We may rate-limit, modify, or remove a tool at any time. If a tool depends on a third-party API (for example PageSpeed Insights), the third-party rate limits and availability apply.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Key Arg B.V. is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or the free tools. Direct damages, if any, are limited to the lesser of (a) zero (since site and tools are free) or (b) for paid services, the amount you paid us in the six months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Dutch law.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy. By using this site you consent to that policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top is authoritative. Material changes that affect the rights of regular site visitors will be announced on the site at least 30 days before they take effect. For paid clients, changes to the signed services agreement require mutual written consent.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms or your use of the site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Overijssel, the Netherlands. Where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides stronger rights, those rights are not affected.
